District VI

District VI held the Decentralized Training at Walters State Community College in conjunction with District V on November 01, 2007. There were approximately 43 attendees to the training. Lunch was provided by TASFAA for the attendees.

District VI also joined District V for the New Aid Officers Training that was held at Walters State Community College on January 07, 2008. There were 21 attendees. TASFAA provided lunch for the attendees.

District VI participated in the College Goal Sunday event on February 10, 2008 with three host schools for the event. Northeast State Community College, Tusculum College and the National College of Business and Technology served as hosts within District VI.

Due to the implementation of Banner within many of the institutions, the goals of District VI will be reviewed as availability arises for participation and availability.

There were a few announcements that were reported within District VI since the last Crossfeed was published:

Lori Acord, of East Tennessee State University, was promoted to Assistant Director of Client Services after the retirement of Dianne Jackson.

Natalie DeSalle joined the Financial Aid Office at Northeast State Community College as a Technical Clerk.

LeeAnn Huffine, Secretary at Northeast State Community College, received her Bachelors Degree in Organizational Management from Tusculum College in December of 2007.
