Conference Committee
TASFAA – Organized 1967
Submitted by Karen Hauser, Spring Conference Chair

Plan now to attend the Spring TASFAA Conference in Memphis. We will be sharing ideas and training. We will be celebrating our professional competencies and experiences. We will look back on how we have grown as an organization, but more importantly how we have grown to serve the diverse needs of our students, families, and institutions.

We’ll take a look back in time as well as discuss what’s ahead. The challenges our families face in meeting the cost of education can be overwhelming. This is especially true for our first generation students. We’ve been able to work toward our goal of assisting them and work as a community we’ve been able to offer financial aid education and products to help families and students gain access.

TASFAA is in Focus in 2007. As an organization, we will continue to strive to work together on meeting the challenges set before us in our changing times. We will continue to strive to fulfill our mission of forty years: The Tennessee Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators was founded in order to establish a community of members, who through the sharing of ideas and professional competencies and experiences, would more ethically and effectively serve the diverse needs of students, families, and institutions.
