District V

Greetings District V members! Although it is early in the year, we are anxiously awaiting the federal training schedule and hope to have a joint session with District VI. You will receive an e-mail once the date, time and location have been finalized. This will be a challenging year for obtaining sponsorship of our training sessions, but we are discussing possible solutions. No one has yet mentioned "covered dish!"

It is hoped that we will not see any interruption or reduction in the number and frequency of the financial aid training sessions available to our members. That being said, it is anticipated that District V members will be able to participate in the federal training update, the workshop for high school guidance counselors and vocational rehabilitation counselors, and the combined workshop on FAFSA changes and support staff appreciation.

Finally, please keep College Goal Sunday in mind as District V has always been well represented with multiple sites and numerous volunteers!
